As an Account Manager, you will manage client partnerships, ensuring outstanding service in supporting of clients’ programs and driving profitable growth.

  • Responsible for promoting services and expanding the current and potential client base to close new business
  • Collaboration with the technical, finance, and project management teams
  • Develop and manage potential and existing clients to establish and develop long-term strategic relationships
  • Proactively follow up on warm leads to convert into new business, build trusted/strategic relationships with client decision makers and manage weekly sales
  • Draft and/or contribute to the writing of proposals to assure a thorough understanding of client need
  • Drive proposal quality and ensure consistency with branding by reviewing, improving and utilizing or developing templates, as well as follow proposal writing standards
  • Coordinate client visits and/or visits to clients to gain new business opportunities and/or expand on existing business relationships – travel 10-25 % of the time (travel expenses are reimbursed)
  • Assist in resolving client challenges, conflicts and concerns interacting with the internal and external team as needed
  • Create and deliver quarterly client presentations, including quarterly business reviews and action plans to strengthen client relationships
  • Create standards, policies, and rules of engagement for social media strategy
  • Design, develop and implement effective social media campaign and reviews success of digital campaigns (e.g., email, social media, etc.) and outlines improvements
  • Work closely with the portfolio management team to accurately forecast and recognize client revenue ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Keep CRM system updated with all lead and opportunity information to ensure accurate and timely documentation of all client and potential client contact


  • 10+ years account management experience – ideally experience selling consulting services to pharmaceutical companies and medical device companies
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Microsoft 365
