WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As a Human Resources / Accounting Assistant, you will provide administrative support to both the accounting and human resources departments.

  • Sit at the front desk in the front lobby area
  • Answer incoming calls and direct to the appropriate person
  • Greet any incoming walk-in traffic and visitors
  • Print and match invoices
  • Pull and review reports
  • General journal entries daily and post cash receipts
  • Point of contact for employees
  • Assist with phone interviews for Spanish-speaking candidates
  • Process employment and wage changes
  • Assist with conducting new employee orientation
  • Monitor and maintain employee review program
  • Create and maintain employee files
  • Enter new hire and separation data into various systems

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
  • 6+ months of office experience
  • Knowledge of basic accounting or bookkeeping functions is a plus
  • Any human resources knowledge is a plus
  • Computer savvy with the ability to learn new software/programs quickly
  • Basic skillset in MSWD, Outlook and intermediate in Excel
  • Must know how to work with formulas in Excel
  • Any knowledge/experience in QuickBooks is a plus
  • Positive, go-getter and team player attitude
  • Friendly, welcoming personality and strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a very fast-paced environment
  • Must use good judgment and have strong decision making skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to see the big picture
  • Ability to work well independently and with others
  • Strong work ethic

Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm or 8:00am – 4:30pm
