WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will process and reconcile supplier payments via check, ACH and virtual credit card.

  • Process and reconcile deposits, in-house checks, and credit card payments
  • Calculate and post journal entries for interest on deposits
  • Process invoices multiple times a day and apply deposits
  • Process invoice revision requests and verify revisions are entered into accounting software
  • Research and process credit card chargebacks
  • Update/verify name, address, payment information, credit and payment terms
  • Work closely with suppliers to keep supplier accounts current
  • Request copies of missing invoices and resolve all invoice discrepancies, credit terms and holds
  • Analyze accounts to determine if original order has been paid and enter credit memos
  • Research checks not cleared, assist with repayment

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Office experience with a numbers focused background such as data entry, analytics, billing etc.
  • Accounts payable, billing, invoicing or other accounting functions with in an office setting preferred
  • Associate degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • Excel and data entry skills
  • Tech savvy
  • Google Suite experience preferred
  • Comfortable on the phone
  • Motivation, self-driven, self-sufficient, proactive
  • Efficient with strong attention to detail
  • Critical thinking skills to identify alternative solutions or approaches to complex problems
  • Demonstrate personal integrity and the ability to act ethically in all situations
  • Adaptable and able to retain information
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Live in or near Appleton, WI

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Length: Temporary to Hire

Pay for the Accounts Payable Associate position: $17.00 – $20.00 / hr. – based on experience

Location: Appleton, WI – hybrid option may be available after training
