Our client is a wholesale distributor of plastics and the sales of plastic machined parts.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As an Inside Sales / Administrative Assistant, you will make customer labels for work orders file sales orders for production and organize paperwork.
- Review drawing revisions to ensure correct documents are together
- Assemble job jackets and distribute to the appropriate production area
- Update customer pricing in the ERP system
- Review customer blueprints thoroughly
- Review customer e-mail requests for quotes and follow customer specific guidelines to enter quote information into the system
- Ensure all information is entered correctly and catch any errors
- Review request for change to sales order and modify necessary documents
- Access customer portals to retrieve or upload necessary information/documents
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Must have fast paced administrative/office assistant experience ideally 2+ years
- Must have experience doing very detailed work each customer wants something different
- On the job, data entry experience is ideal
- Someone that has worked in a manufacturing/shop industry is preferred
- Basic skillset in Excel and Outlook
- Any ERP system experience is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Strong multitasking and prioritizing skills
- Ability to work with confidential information
- Strong work ethic

Length: Temporary to Hire possibly Direct Hire
Pay for the Inside Sales / Administrative Assistant position: $16.00 – $18.00 / hr. – based on experience
