Our client is a family-owned and operated company that provides transportation and distribution services throughout the U.S. and Canada.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be on the phone making about 150-200+ calls per day, cold calling businesses from a list and soft leads that are provided for you.
- Develop your own book of business and find out about the business’s carrier needs
- Possibly generate your own leads
- Any other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Some type of sales experience is highly preferred
- Would consider a fresh graduate who is very eager to learn and is moldable
- Must have the drive to do cold calling and the passion to make the sale
- Extremely computer savvy to learn new programs and systems quickly
- Basic skillset in MSWD and Excel
- Strong and accurate data entry skills
- Eager, motivated and driven
- Outstanding people and phone skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Must be okay with cold calling call after call
- Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
- Strong work ethic

Pay for the Inside Sales Representative position: $16.00 – $18.00 / hr. + commission based on experience
