As a Quality Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for quality customer relations, supplier management, new products/processes and quality maintenance.

  • Taking care of customer claims from start to closure
  • Work with sales and customer service representatives to resolve field complaints and track customer return goods
  • Ensure all products/services meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Work closely with customers on print specifications, quality policies and procedures
  • Review and approve company specifications to customers’ drawings using CAD tool based approval process
  • Monitor and analyze supplier performance
  • Develop requirements to address and resolve supplier quality compliance
  • Collaborate with suppliers on quality-related issues
  • Manage incoming inspection process and disposition of non-conforming materials
  • Lead manufacturing readiness review on new products
  • Conduct first article inspections
  • Perform aspects of advanced product quality planning process
  • Calibrate all metrology devices
  • Audit shop processes and work with employees to provide corrective action
  • Monitor produced material and associated quality records for management resolution and record and analyze issues
  • Maintain ISO 9001: 2015 certification, audits and related issues
  • Oversee and enforce compliance with all OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations
  • Review internal safety policies and practices and conduct hazard and risk assessments


  • Must have quality experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Must have knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015
  • Ability to read and understand narrative, graphic, drawing, blueprints and technical materials
  • Knowledge of product part approval process is preferred
  • A Quality Certification is preferred
  • Knowledge of production, punch press operations and maintenance
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree is a plus
  • Must be computer savvy
  • Basic MSWD and intermediate Excel skills
  • Ability to prioritize and keep up with changing requirements
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must work well in a team environment where everyone helps each other out and do what it takes to get the job done right
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new and varied job tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to deal with highly confidential information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
