Our client is a comprehensive financial services firm.


As a Tax / Financial Assistant, you will assist with tax returns and take care of project work in QuickBooks.

  • Join in client meetings and type notes in the laptop during the meeting
  • Upload the notes into CRM
  • Outline the tasks from the meeting and then delegate the tasks to the appropriate staff
  • Compose a follow-up letter to send to the clients that outlines the meeting and action plan
  • Miscellaneous administrative related duties


  • Some type of administrative, financial and/or accounting related experience
  • Any experience in financial services area, preparing taxes or income tax knowledge is a plus
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in something Financial is a huge plus
  • Must be comfortable with technology
  • MSWD and Excel skills
  • QuickBooks experience is highly preferred
  • PowerPoint is a huge plus
  • Professional demeanor and more conservative
  • Extremely friendly, warm and inviting personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
